About Us
There is no better place to enjoy Cornish hospitality than The Mounts Bay Inn.
At the heart of the traditional fishing village of Mullion, on the beautiful Lizard peninsula in West Cornwall, The Mounts Bay Inn is proud to offer a warm and friendly welcome to visitors and locals.
Whether you chose to stay for a couple of hours or a few days, you can rest assured that you will experience the finest Cornish hospitality from The Mounts Bay Inn team.
With its stunning views, rugged coastal walks and rich history filled with tales of smuggling and shipwrecks, our village of Mullion and the surrounding Lizard Peninsula has plenty to offer visitors. The village itself has a variety of shops, and as with all good Cornish villages, there is a working harbour, protected from the fierce winter storms by two stout sea walls.
Beyond the village, walkers delight in winding their way along the many footpaths that follow the Cornish coast. Visitors can discover a variety of crystal clear coves and sandy beaches – the nearby Poldhu Cove was even the location for the first trans-Atlantic radio communications conducted by Marconi in 1901. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this protected landscape is also home to 15 of Britain’s rarest plants.
